Roper Lake State Park

We narrowly escaped having the self-sustaining Arizona State Park systems destroyed during the last legislative session.
Thanks to many Friends of the State Parks across the state, letters inundated our representatives, and we survived to see another day.

However, we have no the last from the strong, right wing of the Republican Party. They seem hell bent on privatizing the parks, or let them be sold for fodder to developers. We can not allow this to happen.

What can we do now? Lots! This year we are electing many representatives in the November election. We need to make sure we get legislators that are not rigid, will follow their conscience and not assume the harsh Party line, and are not afraid to take a stand to conserve our public lands.

So, what do you think will happen? What do you want to happen?
